Abstract

Abstract An attempt toward the study of the family Dytiscidae (Coleopteral of Iraq was carried out for the first time in the present work on a faunistic level Fifty sx species were studied, five of which were found to be new to science The species represent tive subfamilies and twenty one genera Keys were formulated for the subfamiles genera and species on the bases of the external characters.
